experimental concept for my portfolio site.. the initial idea was to use the elements to visually organise the areas of content. this turned in to a more literal landscape, and then got abstracted again with my urge for a madly curvey menu. photos from sxc and bits of a stock render from [link]

Pieces of this design are amazing and some are average. Overall it caught my eye as a icon as an amazing peice, and ended up being a pretty fine one. Nice work man.

Only advice would be to lighten up the links and make the header part a little more visable.

the body is well done, but I really dislike the menu, I think you could work it more.

its always great when you see a design that just stands a mile out from the rest. I would recommend making the main navigation bar smaller though, it overpowers and distracts from all the other really nice elements

thanks :) i've actually replaced the nav bar with something more conventional now, had to come back to reality some time...

I ain't digging the menu / header. It's big, its ugly and it's not suitable for a design such as this. The rest I like, simple and smooth - totally different from the header / menu. Altho the rest has a very commercial and corporate flow to it, I can definetly see it as suitable for a CV / Portfolio site.
